Product Type: Pressurized Dissolved Air Flotation Unit
描述
The QF Series Dissolved Air Flotation Machine is designed for efficient solid-liquid and liquid-liquid separation in water treatment applications.
It uses highly dispersed microbubbles to attach to suspended solids, oil, grease, and colloidal matter, allowing light contaminants to float
to the surface for removal and helping improve overall water purification performance.
Overview
This air flotation unit is suitable for treating pollutants that are close to or lighter than water and difficult to remove by sedimentation.
In a typical dissolved air flotation process, microbubbles are generated and released into the contact zone, where they adhere to suspended
particles, oil droplets, and conditioned flocs. The resulting bubble-particle aggregates rise rapidly to the water surface, where a skimmer
removes the floated sludge while clarified water is discharged from the lower section of the tank.
Applications
Suitable materials and working conditions include
- Water containing suspended solids, oil, grease, and colloidal pollutants
- Wastewater streams with light pollutants that are difficult to settle by gravity
- Processes requiring rapid sludge-water separation
- Applications using dissolved air pressure of 0.3 to 0.5 MPa
- Systems operating with a recycle ratio of 20% to 40%
- Projects requiring surface loading of 5 to 10 m³/(m²·h)
- Conventional DAF detention time of 20 to 30 minutes
- Installations requiring automatic skimming and controlled sludge discharge
Technical Characteristics
Optional Configuration / Notes
- Chemical dosing with coagulants such as PAC and PAM can be added to improve floc formation and flotation performance.
- Equipment selection should be based on influent SS, oil concentration, target effluent standard, and treatment objective.
- Pressure control, recycle ratio, pH adjustment, and chemical dosing should be optimized during commissioning.
- Detailed electrical specifications, material options, and automation scope are available upon request.
